Why Do People Hate the Jews?
Antisemitism isn’t just ancient bigotry—it’s spiritual warfare. The Jews are God’s chosen people (Deut 7:6), and hatred toward them is ultimately hatred toward God’s redemptive plan.
⸻
1. Because Satan Hates God’s Chosen People
From Eden to Armageddon, Israel is central to God’s purpose—and Satan knows it.
God chose them (Deut 7:7–8).
Through them came the Messiah (Rom 9:5).
They will be redeemed (Zech 12:10, Rom 11:26).
Revelation 12:13 – “The dragon… persecuted the woman who gave birth to the male child.”
That woman is Israel.
Satan’s fury is strategic.
⸻
2. Because of Envy and Resentment
Despite exile and persecution, Jews have thrived in science, business, and culture.
Their success sparks envy—and envy breeds lies.
Exodus 1:10 – “Let us deal shrewdly with them…”
Antisemitism is often envy in disguise.
⸻
3. Because of Replacement Theology
For nearly 2,000 years, many churches claimed God rejected Israel and replaced her with the Church.
This falsehood paved the way for pogroms, inquisitions, and even the Holocaust.
Romans 11:1 – “Has God rejected His people? By no means!”
Romans 11:18 – “Do not be arrogant toward the branches.”
Forgetting Israel opens the door to deception.
⸻
4. Because Jews Gave Us the Bible
Nearly every book of the Bible was written by Jews.
Through them came the covenants, prophets, and the Word itself (Rom 3:2).
Psalm 147:19–20 – “He declares His word to Jacob… He has not dealt thus with any other nation.”
Hating Jews is hating the stewards of Scripture.
⸻
5. Because Jesus Was Jewish
Yeshua was born to a Jewish mother, kept Torah, taught in synagogues, and fulfilled prophecy.
Isaiah 9:6–7 – “To us a child is born… He will reign on David’s throne.”
Romans 9:5 – “From their race… is the Christ.”
You can’t love the Jewish Messiah and despise His people.
⸻
6. Because the World Rejects God’s Sovereignty
The world hates that God chose Israel.
Psalm 135:4 – “The Lord has chosen Jacob for Himself…”
Antisemitism is rebellion wrapped in ideology.
⸻
7. Because Israel’s Future Is Glorious—And Satan Fears It
Israel isn’t past tense—she’s central to what’s coming.
Jesus is returning to Jerusalem.
Zechariah 14:4 – “His feet shall stand on the Mount of Olives…”
Acts 1:11 – “This same Jesus… will come in the same way.”
Micah 4:7 – “The Lord will reign… in Mount Zion.”
Satan can’t stop the Second Coming, so he targets the people and the city.
⸻
8. Because of Lies and Conspiracies
From “Jews killed Jesus” to “Zionists control the world,” antisemitism feeds on lies.
John 8:44 – “[Satan] is a liar and the father of lies.”
Psalm 120:2 – “Deliver me… from lying lips.”
The enemy always slanders what God treasures.
⸻
9. Because Antisemitism Is Prophetic
Scripture warns that all nations will turn against Jerusalem.
Zechariah 12:3 – “All the nations of the earth will gather against it.”
Matthew 24:9 – “You will be hated by all nations for My name’s sake.”
Antisemitism is not just hate—it’s prophecy unfolding.
⸻
10. Because People Don’t Know the Bible
Most antisemitism collapses under the weight of Scripture.
Genesis 12:3 – “I will bless those who bless you…”
Jeremiah 31:36 – “If this fixed order departs… then shall Israel cease…”
Psalm 105:8–10 – “He remembers His covenant forever…”
Ignore the Bible and you’ll believe Satan’s lies.
⸻
The Christian’s Mandate
Romans 11:11
“Did they stumble in order that they might fall? By no means! …salvation has come to the Gentiles, so as to make Israel jealous.”
The Church wasn’t called to replace Israel—but to reflect Christ so vividly that Israel returns to Him.
Romans 11:18 – “Do not be arrogant toward the branches.”
Psalm 122:6 – “Pray for the peace of Jerusalem.”
Let’s stand with Israel.
Let’s love the Jewish people.
Let’s proclaim the Jewish Messiah.
