What Happens After the Bema Seat? A War Erupts in Heaven!
The Bema Seat of Christ (2 Cor 5:10) is where believers are rewarded after the Rapture—not judged for sin, but for faithfulness.
But right after this heavenly reward ceremony, Heaven itself becomes a battleground—as Michael the Archangel and the armies of Heaven engage in a cosmic showdown.

Timing is Crucial
This event occurs mid-Tribulation, shortly after the Bema Seat of Christ (1 Cor 3:11–15). The glorified Church is now in Heaven, rewarded and clothed in white (Rev 19:8), when suddenly—a heavenly eviction notice is served to Satan.

Michael the Archangel Steps Forward
“At that time shall arise Michael, the great prince who has charge of your people.”

Michael is Israel’s defender, and at the midpoint of Daniel’s 70th week, he leads God’s heavenly host in removing Satan from the heavens forever.

Satan’s Access is Revoked—Permanently
Until this point, Satan had access to Heaven to accuse God’s people:
“Now there was a day when the sons of God came to present themselves before the Lord, and Satan also came among them.”

But now—heaven is cleansed. The final preparation for Christ’s return has begun.

Satan, knowing he only has 42 months (Rev 13:5), unleashes chaos through the Antichrist and false prophet, starting with the Abomination of Desolation (Matt 24:15, 2 Thess 2:4, Dan 9:27).

Israel Flees for Her Life
“But the woman was given the two wings of the great eagle so that she might fly from the serpent into the wilderness,
to the place where she is to be nourished for a time, and times, and half a time.”

The believing remnant of Israel escapes to a prepared place—likely Petra (Isa 16:1–4, Micah 2:12–13)—where God protects her supernaturally during the Great Tribulation.
