Truth: God distinguishes between Israel and the Church. One does not replace the other.
Romans 11:1 – “Has God rejected His people? By no means!”
Romans 11:28–29 – “As regards the gospel, they are enemies for your sake. But as regards election, they are beloved for the sake of their forefathers. For the gifts and the calling of God are irrevocable.”
Jeremiah 31:35–37 – Only if the sun stops shining and the heavens can be measured will Israel cease to be a nation before God.
The Church is not “true Israel”—it’s the “one new man” (Ephesians 2:15), comprised of both Jews and Gentiles, but Israel remains distinct and chosen.
The term “Israel” appears 73 times in the New Testament, and not once is it redefined as the Church.
Luke 21:24 – “Jerusalem will be trampled underfoot by the Gentiles until the times of the Gentiles are fulfilled.” That time is coming to a close.
The modern State of Israel is a prophetic fulfillment (Isaiah 11:11–12; Ezekiel 36:24; Amos 9:14–15).
