The Great Tribulation: The Second Half of the 7-Year Tribulation
The first half was bad… but the last 3.5 years will be far worse. Jesus called it “great tribulation” (Matthew 24:21), and Jeremiah 30:7 calls it “the time of Jacob’s trouble”—a period of intense suffering for Israel.

The Antichrist Betrays Israel & Declares Himself God (Midpoint of the Tribulation)
Daniel 9:27 – “And on the wing of abominations shall come one who makes desolate…”
2 Thessalonians 2:4 – “He takes his seat in the temple of God, proclaiming himself to be God.”
Then the Antichrist breaks his peace treaty with Israel and desecrates the Third Temple by declaring himself God. This is the Abomination of Desolation (Matthew 24:15).

The Time of Jacob’s Trouble – Israel Under Attack (After the Midpoint)
Jeremiah 30:7 – “Alas! That day is so great there is none like it; it is a time of distress for Jacob…”
After deceiving them, the Antichrist turns on Israel:
•A remnant of Jews flees to the wilderness for divine protection (Revelation 12:6, 14).
•The Antichrist wages war against them (Revelation 12:13-17).
•Two-thirds of Israel is killed (Zechariah 13:8), but the remaining third will be refined and saved

The 144,000 Jewish Witnesses & The Gospel Angel (Throughout the Second Half of the Tribulation)
Revelation 7:3-8 – God seals 144,000 Jewish men (12,000 from each tribe) to be His evangelists.
Revelation 14:6-7 – A mighty angel proclaims the eternal gospel to the entire world!
Despite the darkness, God still calls people to salvation! Many will believe (Tribulation Saints) but most will be martyred (Revelation 6:9-11).

The False Prophet & The Mark of the Beast (Shortly After the Midpoint, Enforced in the Second Half)
Revelation 13:11-18 – The False Prophet, a religious leader, performs miracles to deceive the world and forces all to worship the Antichrist.
He introduces the Mark of the Beast:
•A mandatory mark on the right hand or forehead (Revelation 13:16).
•No one can buy or sell without it (Revelation 13:17).
•Taking the mark means eternal damnation (Revelation 14:9-11).

The Seven Bowls of God’s Wrath (Final Judgments Toward the End of the Tribulation) (Revelation 16)
Loathsome sores on those who take the Mark of the Beast (v.2) 
The sea turns to blood, killing all sea life (v.3) 
Rivers & springs turn to blood (v.4) 
The sun scorches people with intense heat (v.8-9) 
Total darkness covers the Antichrist’s kingdom (v.10-11) 
The Euphrates River dries up, preparing for Armageddon (v.12-16) 
A massive earthquake & 100-lb hailstones devastate the earth (v.17-21) 
The world is in total chaos—but people still refuse to repent!

The Final Battle: Armageddon (Very End of the Tribulation)
Revelation 16:16 – “They assembled… at the place called Armageddon.”
Revelation 19:11-16 – Jesus returns on a white horse with heaven’s armies.
The Antichrist gathers the world’s armies to fight against Jesus—but they are destroyed instantly (Revelation 19:19-21).

The End of the Great Tribulation & Jesus’ Return
Matthew 24:29-30 – “Immediately after the tribulation… they will see the Son of Man coming on the clouds…”
Zechariah 13:9
•Israel’s national repentance: Jesus will not return until they call upon Him!
Matthew 23:39 – “For I tell you, you will not see me again, until you say, ‘Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord.’”
Jesus physically returns and establishes His Millennial Kingdom (Revelation 20:4).
The Antichrist & False Prophet? Thrown into the lake of fire (Revelation 19:20).
Satan is bound for 1,000 years (Revelation 20:1-3)
