After the Great Tribulation, Zion will be favored
“Although I struck you in My wrath, yet I will show mercy to you with My favor.” (10b)
Gentile kings finally believe the Bible: It is better to bless Zion than to curse Zion
“the wealth of the nations may be brought into you, with their kings being led in procession.” (11)
God’s Ultimatum to Gentiles: Bless Zion, or Be Annihilated
“For the nation and the kingdom that will not serve you will perish; those nations will be annihilated.” (12)
God will dwell in Zion once again
“and I will glorify My dwelling place.” (13)
Children of Hamas, Hezbollah, the Houthis and all Israel’s "revilers" will cease their generational antisemitism and submit to God’s choice of Zion
“The sons of your oppressors will come and bow down to you; all who reviled you will fall facedown at your feet.” (14)
Zion will be prominent, pride replaces disdain
“I will make you an object of eternal pride, a joy from age to age.” (15)
Zion’s people will know the Lord
“you will know that I, Yahweh, am your Savior and Redeemer, the Mighty One of Jacob.” (16)
Zion will be filled with peace, not war.
“I will appoint peace as your guard and righteousness as your ruler. Violence will never again be heard of in your land; devastation and destruction will be gone from your borders.” (17-18)
The Jewish people will no longer be persecuted by jealous, hateful, antisemitic Gentiles.
“for the Lord will be your everlasting light, and the days of your sorrow will be over.” (20)
The Jewish people will be home: forever in the special land God gave them by an eternal covenant.
“they will possess the land forever…so that I may be glorified” (21)
The might of the Jewish people and the will of the nations will not accomplish this amazing feat. God wants all the glory for Himself
“I will accomplish it quickly in its time.” (22)
