The Book of Revelation is not a mystery—it’s a revealing
The Book of Revelation is not a mystery—it’s a revealing.
Revelation is the only book in the Bible that promises a blessing just for reading it.
“Blessed is the one who reads aloud the words of this prophecy, and blessed are those who hear, and who keep what is written in it, for the time is near.” — Revelation 1:3
The Greek word apokalypsis means “unveiling,” and what’s unveiled is Jesus Christ in His glory, power, and final victory. This prophetic letter was given to John, the beloved apostle, on the island of Patmos to show God’s servants “the things that must soon take place” (Revelation 1:1).

Unique Insights:
•Structure mirrors a Jewish wedding: The Bridegroom (Jesus) prepares a place (John 14:2–3), comes for His Bride (Rev. 4), and celebrates the Marriage Supper (Rev. 19).
•Allusions to Exodus: Plagues, deliverance, and worship echo God’s earlier redemption—this time cosmic.
•Israel is central: 144,000 sealed from the tribes, the Two Witnesses in Jerusalem, the Temple restored.
•Revelation interprets the Old Testament: Over 500 references to OT scripture, especially Daniel, Isaiah, Ezekiel, and Zechariah.
•Heaven is loud: Constant worship, thunderings, and shouts. Silence only falls once—for half an hour (Rev. 8:1).
⸻
Teaser from Daniel:
Daniel 9:27 describes a coming prince who “shall make a strong covenant with many for one week.” That “week” (7 years) is the Tribulation timeline in Revelation. The visions Daniel sealed (Dan. 12:4) are unsealed in Revelation—especially in chapters 6–18.
“The visions of Daniel find their voice in the scroll of Revelation.”
