Revelation 7: The Lamb Still Saves Amid the Wrath

THE LAMB STILL SAVES AMID THE WRATH Revelation 7▶️ Wrath Begins… but God Pauses for Mercy As Seal 1 is opened in Revelation 6, judgment storms the earth—conquest, war, famine, death. But before more devastation comes, heaven issues a command: “Do not harm the earth or the sea or the trees, until we have sealed the servants of our God on their foreheads.” Revelation 7:3 Even in wrath, God pauses to seal 144,000 Jewish witnesses. Why? Because redemption still pulses through the heart of prophecy. ⸻ ▶️ Israel Recommissioned This is not the Church. These are literal descendants of Jacob—12,000 from each tribe (Rev. 7:4–8). These men are called, sealed, and sent. “You are my witnesses,” declares the Lord… — Isaiah 43:10 “The gifts and the calling of God are irrevocable.” — Romans 11:29 God hasn’t replaced Israel—He’s reactivating them. ✅ If 12 Jewish men changed the world in Acts (Acts 17:6), imagine what 144,000 Jewish evangelists will accomplish during the Tribulation! ⸻ ▶️ Multitudes Washed in the Blood Immediately after the sealing of the 144,000, heaven unveils something staggering: “After this I looked, and behold, a great multitude that no one could number, from every nation, from all tribes and peoples and languages…” Revelation 7:9 This is not the Church—it’s a massive harvest of Tribulation saints, saved through the fearless witness of the 144,000 and likely the Two Witnesses (Revelation 11). “These are the ones coming out of the great tribulation. They have washed their robes and made them white in the blood of the Lamb.” Revelation 7:14 Some denominations expect a great revival before the Tribulation. But here, we see the largest end-times revival begins after the Rapture, initiated by the Lamb opening the First Seal (Revelation 6:1). This is the fruit of that moment. These believers endured great suffering—many were martyred. Their reward? “They are before the throne of God… the Lamb will shepherd them… and God will wipe away every tear from their eyes.” Revelation 7:15–17 This is revival in the rubble. Grace amid global shaking. Souls reaped in wrath. Even during judgment, heaven is harvesting. ⸻ ▶️ Faith Takeaway Even when judgment falls, God still saves. Even when the Church is gone, God still uses Israel. Even when the world is in chaos, the Lamb is still reaching. ➡️ “In wrath remember mercy.” — Habakkuk 3:2 ➡️ “Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved.” — Joel 2:32 ➡️ “Those who are wise shall shine like the brightness of the sky above… and turn many to righteousness.” — Daniel 12:3 If God can use 144,000 during the rise of Antichrist, He can use you today. ⸻ “The same God who sealed Noah in the ark seals His servants in the storm. Judgment may fall—but grace still calls.” Dr. Mark Hitchcock▶️ Cross References •Isaiah 49:6 – “I will make you as a light for the nations…” •Romans 11:1 – “Has God rejected His people? By no means!” •Psalm 94:14 – “The Lord will not forsake His people…” •Matthew 24:14 – “This gospel… will be proclaimed… and then the end will come.”
