Our Calling Toward the Jewish People
Biblical Mandate:
“Salvation has come to the Gentiles, so as to provoke them to jealousy.”
—Romans 11:11
God didn’t reject Israel. He used the salvation of the Gentiles to stir a holy jealousy—so that the Jewish people would desire what we have in Messiah.
⸻
How Do We Provoke Them to Jealousy?
By our love — not arrogance
“Do not be arrogant toward the branches… remember it is not you who support the root.”
—Romans 11:18
We show deep love for Israel as the root of our faith.
By our fruit — genuine Spirit-filled living
“By this all people will know that you are My disciples, if you have love for one another.”
—John 13:35
A joyful, obedient, holy life in Messiah is powerful testimony.
By our hope — firm trust in God’s promises
We believe in the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob—and His unbreakable covenants (Genesis 12:1–3; Romans 11:29).
⸻
Takeaway:
To provoke godly jealousy, we must live lives that radiate the love of Jesus, anchored in truth, and overflowing with gratitude to the Jewish people who gave us the Scriptures, the covenants, and the Messiah (Romans 9:4–5).
Let’s bless Israel with prayer (Psalm 122:6), kindness (Genesis 12:3), and unwavering faith in Yeshua.
