Jerusalem: The City Marked by God’s Name & the Coming Throne of King Jesus 
From the sky, Jerusalem forms the shape of the Hebrew letter “Shin” (ש)—a letter tied to God’s divine name and His covenant with Israel. This is no coincidence. The God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob chose this city thousands of years ago, and it remains at the center of His prophetic plan.
Jerusalem: Chosen by God
A Promise to Abraham – God told Abraham to sacrifice Isaac on Mount Moriah (Genesis 22:2), marking this very place for future redemption.
The Dwelling Place of His Name – In 1 Kings 11:36, God declares that He has chosen Jerusalem to bear His name forever.
Marked by the Letter Shin (ש) – Seen in Jerusalem’s topography, this letter represents Shaddai (שדי), meaning “Almighty.” It also appears on tefillin (phylacteries), symbolizing God’s presence and protection.
A Heavy Stone for the Nations
Jerusalem is no ordinary city—it is the focal point of end-times prophecy and the center of global conflict. God warned that the nations would try to control it, but they will only bring judgment on themselves.
Zechariah 12:3 – “On that day I will make Jerusalem a heavy stone for all the peoples. All who lift it will surely hurt themselves.”
The world fights over this city because it belongs to the Lord, and Satan knows its prophetic significance. Every empire that has tried to seize it has ultimately fallen.
Jerusalem’s Future: The Throne of King Jesus
Jerusalem is not just Israel’s historic and spiritual capital—it is the city where Jesus will reign for 1,000 years in the Millennial Kingdom!
Zechariah 14:4-9 – Jesus will return to the Mount of Olives, split the mountain in two, and establish His reign.
Isaiah 2:2-4 – The nations will come to Jerusalem to learn God’s law under the rule of King Jesus.
Revelation 20:4-6 – The Millennial Kingdom will be centered in Jerusalem, where Christ will reign as the rightful King.
Jerusalem: The Past, Present, and Future of God’s Plan
It was chosen in Abraham’s time.
It bore God’s name throughout Israel’s history.
It will be the throne of the King of Kings.
The nations rage against it, but God has already declared its destiny. Jerusalem belongs to the King of Kings—and He is coming soon!
