Some encouragement for my fellow "watchmen on the walls".... 
Hosea predicted it would happen in
Hosea 3:4-5
"For the Israelites must live many days without king or prince, without sacrifice or sacred pillar, and without ephod or household idols. Afterward, the people of Israel will return and seek the Lord their God and David their king. They will come with awe to the Lord and to His goodness in the last days."
Jeremiah predicted it would happen in
Jeremiah 31:33-34
“Instead, this is the covenant I will make with the house of Israel after those days”—the Lord’s declaration. “I will put My teaching within them and write it on their hearts. I will be their God, and they will be My people. No longer will one teach his neighbor or his brother, saying, ‘Know the Lord,’ for they will all know Me, from the least to the greatest of them” —this is the Lord’s declaration. “For I will forgive their wrongdoing and never again remember their sin.”
Ezekiel predicted it would happen in
Ezekiel 20:44
"You will know that I am Yahweh, house of Israel, when I have dealt with you because of My name rather than according to your evil ways and corrupt acts.” This is the declaration of the Lord God.'"
Zechariah predicted it would happen in
Zechariah 12:10
“Then I will pour out a spirit of grace and prayer on the house of David and the residents of Jerusalem, and they will look at Me whom they pierced. They will mourn for Him as one mourns for an only child and weep bitterly for Him as one weeps for a firstborn."
Jesus Messiah predicted it would happen in Matthew 23:37-39
“Jerusalem, Jerusalem! l She who kills the prophets and stones those who are sent to her. How often I wanted to gather your children together, as a hen gathers her chicks m under her wings, yet you were not willing! See, your house is left to you desolate. For I tell you, you will never see Me again until you say, ‘He who comes in the name of the Lord is the blessed One’!”
The Apostle Paul predicted it would happen in
Romans 11:26-27
And in this way all Israel will be saved, as it is written: The Liberator will come from Zion; He will turn away godlessness from Jacob. And this will be My covenant with them when I take away their sins."
And when it happens, Paul says Israel's salvation will bring riches [blessing] to the whole world:
"Now if their stumbling brings riches for the world, and their failure riches for the Gentiles, how much more will their full number bring!" -Rom. 11:12
Maybe all of the above is the reason why Satan, and so many people, are opposed to the Bible's clear teaching about Israel?
And that is precisely why the Prophet Isaiah instructs us to NEVER GIVE UP the battle that rages over ZION.
"Jerusalem, I have appointed watchmen on your walls; they will never be silent, day or night. There is no rest for you, who remind the Lord. Do not give Him rest until He establishes and makes Jerusalem the praise of the earth." - Isa. 62:6-7
