Are the god and message of postmillennialism the God and message of the Bible?

No. They differ in core ways. ⸻ ▶️ 1. Postmillennialism says the world improves before Christ returns. 🔹 Bible says it worsens: “Evil people… will go from bad to worse.” – 2 Tim 3:13 “Sudden destruction will come.” – 1 Thess 5:3 ⸻ ▶️ 2. Postmillennialism says the Church brings the Kingdom. 🔹 Bible says Jesus brings it: “The God of heaven will set up a kingdom.” – Dan 2:44 “They will see the Son of Man coming…” – Matt 24:30▶️ 3. Postmillennialism ignores Israel and future judgment. 🔹 Bible highlights both: “Time of Jacob’s trouble…” – Jer 30:7 “I will gather the nations… for My people Israel.” – Joel 3:2 ⸻ ▶️ 4. Postmillennialism downplays sin and wrath. 🔹 Bible says the world is corrupt: “The whole world lies in the power of the evil one.” – 1 John 5:19 “Wrath is revealed from heaven…” – Rom 1:18▶️ 5. Postmillennialism has the Church reign before Christ returns. 🔹 Bible says we reign with Him after He returns: “They will reign with Christ for 1,000 years.” – Rev 20:6 ⸻ Postmillennialism shifts hope from Christ’s return to man’s reform. The true gospel says: Jesus comes first, judges evil, and then reigns. “Surely I am coming soon.” Amen. Come, Lord Jesus. – Rev 22:20
