Antisemitism: A Demonic Spirit Through the Ages

From Pharaoh in Egypt to Haman in Persia, from Hitler in Germany to modern-day hostility in media and academia—the Jewish people have been relentlessly targeted, not because of who they are, but because of Whose they are.
1. God’s Covenant with Abraham Sparked Satan’s Fury
Genesis 12:2–3 — “I will make of you a great nation… I will bless those who bless you, and him who dishonors you I will curse.”
The Abrahamic Covenant marked the Jewish people as God’s chosen channel of blessing. Satan has opposed this covenant from the beginning.
2. Antisemitism is Spiritual Warfare
Revelation 12:13 — “When the dragon saw that he had been thrown down to the earth, he pursued the woman who had given birth to the male child.”
The “woman” is Israel (cf. Rev 12:1), and the dragon (Satan) wages war against her because she gave birth to Messiah. This is the deep spiritual root of antisemitism.
3. A Pattern of Demonic Assaults
Pharaoh’s genocide of Hebrew boys (Exodus 1:15–22)
Humans decree to annihilate the Jews (Esther 3:6–13)
Antiochus Epiphanes defiling the temple (Daniel 11:31)
Roman destruction of Jerusalem (Luke 21:6, 24)
Hitler’s Holocaust (Revelation 12:17 – a foreshadow?)
Modern antisemitism masked as “anti-Zionism”
Each of these reveals a satanic hatred for the people through whom God works.
4. Jesus Was and Is Jewish
Romans 9:5 — “To them belong the patriarchs, and from their race, according to the flesh, is the Christ, who is God over all.”
To hate the Jews is to reject Jesus’ own earthly heritage.
5. Antisemitism Will Intensify in the End Times
Zechariah 12:3 — “Though all the nations of the earth gather against her…”
The end-times scenario includes global hostility toward Israel. This is not political—it is prophetic.
