7 Scriptural and Logical Problems with the Post-Trib Rapture View
Why the Church Won’t Enter the Tribulation
⸻
1. No Time for the Bema Seat or Marriage Supper
Scripture: 2 Corinthians 5:10, Revelation 19:7-8
The Bride is already clothed in fine linen (Rev. 19:8) before Jesus returns to Earth (Rev. 19:11). A Post-Trib view leaves no time for the Bema Seat judgment or the Marriage Supper of the Lamb.
⸻
2. The U-Turn Problem
Scripture: 1 Thessalonians 4:17
If believers rise to meet Christ in the air but immediately return with Him to Earth, it creates a “yo-yo” effect with no heavenly dwelling. Jesus said He was taking us to His Father’s House (John 14:3), not circling back to Earth.
⸻
3. The Doctrine of Imminency Is Destroyed
Scripture: Titus 2:13, Philippians 3:20
Post-Tribulationism requires the Antichrist, Seals, Trumpets, and Bowls to occur first—making the Rapture non-imminent. Yet the Bible commands us to watch expectantly for Christ, not the Antichrist.
⸻
4. Confusing the Church and Israel
Scripture: Jeremiah 30:7, Daniel 9:24, Romans 11:25-26
The Tribulation is “Jacob’s Trouble,” not the Church’s. It’s designed to bring Israel to national repentance—not to refine the already-ransomed Church.
⸻
5. The Church Is Promised Deliverance from Wrath
Scripture: 1 Thessalonians 5:9, Revelation 3:10
The entire 7-year period is God’s wrath (Rev. 6:17). Scripture promises the Church will be kept from this wrath, not preserved through it.
⸻
6. Who Will Populate the Millennial Kingdom?
Scripture: Isaiah 65:20, Zechariah 14:16
If all believers are raptured and glorified at the Second Coming, who remains in natural bodies to enter the Millennial Kingdom? Post-Trib theology leaves no room for surviving believers in mortal flesh.
⸻
7. The Blessed Hope Becomes a Dreaded Event
Scripture: Titus 2:13
Instead of eagerly awaiting Jesus, believers under Post-Trib doctrine are told to brace for global collapse, the Antichrist, martyrdom, and plagues. That’s not hope—it’s horror.
